The Veterinary Office of Food-producing Animals operates in an independent building in the fodder factory site, opposite of the Municipal Sports Centre of Agrinio, fully staffed with qualified, scientific personnel.

Having in mind the particular role and importance of a complete veterinary care (prevention, diagnosis, treatment) to the producer, the Union of Agrinio has equipped the Veterinary clinic with all the necessary means in order to offer top quality healthcare services to the region’s livestock, to ensure animals’ health and to contribute to decision-making on potential epidemic animal diseases and to taking measures to protect the public health.

The veterinary clinic responsibly and consistently undertakes any medical care regarding production animals, from vaccination to animal’s and herd’s health restoration/rehabilitation, offering, at the same time, advice on feed issues, milking, breeding, physical condition during labor etc. It is needless to mention that all veterinary medicinal products are always available at the most competitive prices and that they, as well as the medicated feed, are authorized. The medicated feed is manufactured and marketed in accordance to the applicable provisions of the national and the Community law and are solely intended for the treatment or prevention of a specific disease or syndrome of productive animals.

Practically, all the above constitute a guarantee for the producer. It goes without saying that the producer will never have to face any problems regarding the Medication Record that he/she is by law required to keep.

Next to the Veterinary clinic operates the Laboratory, where all laboratory and diagnostic tests are performed.
