Marketing Department

The Union of Agrinio has developed a fully organized Marketing Department, which trades in raw materials market and is involved in the sale of goods.

The Marketing Department, in cooperation with the alfalfa plant (“SELO”), is responsible for the corn harvesting, which takes place from September to November. The same Department, in cooperation with SELO, is responsible for the conversion of wilted alfalfa (lucerne) into grain, which is used not only for production, but for sale as well.

In addition, the Department undertakes direct transactions with the producers regarding credit to buy supplies and machinery, through various subsidies.
