Agricultural Research Department

The Union of Agrinio has created the agricultural research department in order to cover the demands of the 2007-2013 Common Agricultural Policy programs, as well as the new 2015-2020 program period.

Our goal is to well and on-time inform all potential agriculturists, as well as all those interested and willing to enter the agricultural business.

The department’s area of research are almost all the agricultural exploitation support programs. The department deals with axis 1 and 2, focusing mainly on the following measures:

Measure 214 «Agricultural-environmental aid (Organic Farming and Stock raising)»
Measure 112 «Installation of new farmers»
Measure 121 «Improvement plans»
Study for water usage license
Study for stock raising facilities license
It should be pointed out that the Agricultural Research Department has filed investing propositions for hundreds of farmers throughout the area, with the overall eligible expenditure reaching up to tens of millions of euros.
